The Garden District Tour of Homes

The Garden District Tour of Homes will be back in 2009 and were looking for both committee volunteers and homes. This special event enables us to showcase our lovely neighborhood to our friends and neighbors around Baton Rouge. While a specific date has yet to be set, the event is tentatively scheduled for April or May of 2009 and it's time to begin organizing the committees necessary to make this a resounding success. The goal is to have eight homes on the tour and we will need all your help to make this happen.

We are looking for volunteers for the following committees and can adapt your role pending the amount of time and effort you have - or are able to contribute to making this event a success. For those who have been a part of this in previous years, we'd love to have you, and your wealth of knowledge, back on board and working with us!

• Finances

Finally, if you would liike to nominate a home, please do so by emailing us here. We're looking for all types of homes that help to represent the many different and exciting facets of buildings and styles within the Garden District. We are also looking to have homes with unique and special gardens on the tour as well, even if the owner would prefer not to have the interior on the tour.
