Advertise With Us!

The Garden District Civic Association currently offers advertising space in our newsletter, the Garden District News, but not on our website. The newsletter is hand-delivered to at least 820 homes in one of Baton Rouge’s most healthy real-estate markets with a diversified but generally upscale demographic. The Garden District News is published four times a year, and typically comes out in March, June, September and December.

We accept advertising in electronic format on disc or through the internet or we can put your ad together for you for a small additional charge.

Advertising in the Garden District News is $20 per column-inch with discounts for large ads as described in the chart below. All ads are black and white and there is a 15% additional cost for us to put the ad together for you. There is a 5% discount for repeating your ad a second time and a 10% discount for repeating it the whole year.

All advertising must be paid in full in advance for the entire run of the ad.

Resolution & Quality Notes:

The newsletter will be printed through laser-copier and distributed by hand. We suggest an image resolution of 85 to 170 dpi at 100%. Higher resolutions will doubtfully stand up.
