Summertime Throw Down August 29!
POSTPONED TO AUGUST 29! The party has been postponed due to tropical storm Bonnie's arrival. The new date is August 29th. Time to be announced. Please mark your calendars for this alternate date.
Bring Your Friends!
All Garden District Residents are invited to attend the annual Garden District Summer Social and you're encouraged to bring a friend as well! This year festivities will include relaxing with your neighbors, listening to live entertainment by Andy Pizzo Projects, and plenty of good food!!!When: Sunday, July 29, 2010. Times and events may be adjusted but hopefully we will keep the same schedule as originally planned from 4 to 7 pm where we will start with a presentation provided by Baton Rouge Green Trees 101 Programs from 4 to 5 followed with live entertainment by The Andy Pizzo Project from 5 to 7.
The party will be held at the home of Flo Ulmer and Bill Rodman at 2220 Oleander St. Please support the festivities by bringing your favorite side dish or dessert - the GDCA will provide the Main dish.
It's a good idea to bring ann ice chest with your favorite summer beverage, lawn chairs, picnic blankets, etc. And Garden District t-shirts will also be on sale for those that want to show pride in their neighborhood!!!
